Waves of Democracy 2011
From 30th June - 7th July, 2011 young people met in Belgrade, Serbia for our summer project Waves of Democracy 2011, where they worked on the Handbook of Networking, Culture and Politics in European Citizenship Education.
Linkin´Europe 2.0 - Old Europe, modern world?
With EUNET partners from Rennes, Graz and Otzenhausen IUC has started this postcard project linked to Europe Day. It will involve students in our 4 regions and link them in a network.
Waves of Democracy Serbia 2010
Waves of Democracy Serbia 2010 was successfully run from 2-8 July 2010 by IUC-Europe and Global Citizen in cooperation with European Fund for the Balkans, Balkan Trust for Democracy, European Movement in Serbia, Fund for an Open Society - Serbia, The Danish Embassy Serbia and EUNET partners.
Baltic Development Forum's Summit in Vilnius
As Administrative Coordinator of MEP BSR (Model European Parliament Baltic Sea Region) Nina Nørgaard took part in the Baltic Development Forum's Summit in Vilnius (www.bdforum.org) with students from Lithuania, Sweden, Finland and Germany on June 1-2. Also Hans Lindemann (Principal, Metropolitanskolen) and Dan Gustafsson (Vice Principal, Victor Rydberg Gymnaisum) from the organisation were present at the conference. MEP BSR's main sponsor is the Nordic Council of Ministers.
Europe Celebrates its 60th Anniversary
IUC is one of the co-organisers of the project "Europe Celebrates its 60th Anniversary", whose main organiser is the Robert Schuman Centre in Scy-Chazelles, Metz.
